SIV S7 GPS Car Black Box is an innovative event recording system, capturing comprehensive vehicle data from triggered events. SIV S7 Driving Recorder is triggered by an advanced process including a multi-axis accelerometer that measures sudden movements such as sharp breaking, rapid acceleration, excessive cornering or sudden impact or shocks. Captured data includes 20 seconds of video footage before the triggered event and 20 seconds after the trigger, front -of-vehicle, as well as audio, location, speed and more.

GPS Signal Receiver Position

• GPS signal receiver should face upward.
• It may not be able to catch signal easily when it upside down.
• It normally takes approximately under 2 mins to get GPS signal.
• Due to environmental condition (whether, building s, or others) can affect GPS to receive signal.
• Longer signal receive time may happen only once when user firstly install it. (Exact time of 'Long-Time' may vary as 5 mins to even 15 mins)
• But Once GPS receives signal, and time will be shorten when connect next time.(GPS remembers latest position.).

Correct Installation

• Recommend to install (attach) besides Room Mirror Inside.(This position will not block driver's sight)
• However, as long as GPS receiver is facing upward and no blocking the camera, correct install location is up to user's convenience.

SIV Manager

SIV Manager is to view recorded files.Once user connects S7 to computer, SIV manager automatically installed.Functions of SIV Manager

Record Accident

• When an incident occurs, caused by sharp breaking, rapid acceleration, excessive cornering or sudden impact, S7 saves the recorded video of the 20 seconds immediately before and the 20 seconds immediately after the incident.

Advanced video quality

• It provides better video quality by using H.264 video encoding format.

Manual Recording

• Driver record any events by pressing manual recording button

Save driving information data

• It records not only incident recording but also shock and impact data from G-sensor and GPS.(GPS data is available only in S7-GPS model)

Convenient Backup

• The event recording is downloaded into the SIV manager software via a Memory Stick, or USB cable, allowing it to be analyzed in detail

Event analyzing software

• Event recording can be analyzed in SIV manager (PC Software). It also provide useful tools such as capturing, printing, and converting to AVI.

Customizing

• SIV manager also provide product set up tool. Connecting SIV recorder to PC, user can set up various item as his own preference.

ECO drive indicator

• S7 evaluate driving and show its efficiency by LED light color. With this reference, drive improve safety and get better fuel consumption
